Bio
Born in Kilchberg, Switzerland, in 1984, I grew up around Zurich and received my MSc in Mechanical Engineering from ETH in 2009. I successfully concluded my PhD at the IDSC in 2013. During the PhD, I focused on optimisation-oriented modelling and optimal control of (light and heavy duty) diesel engines.

Model-based calibration of diesel engines
Numerical dynamic optimisation of the control-input trajectories of diesel engines over a transient driving cycle, used for assessing and improving causal control strategies and for deriving full engine calibrations.
