Ochsner, Gregor

Bio

Gregor Ochsner was born in 1985 and grew up in Einsiedeln where he still lives today. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zurich in 2008 and 2010, respectively. After 2011, Gregor Ochsner worked as a PhD candidate at the Institute for Dynamic Systems and Control at ETH Zurich. He received his PhD degree in 2014 on the topic “Physiological Control of Left Ventricular Assist Devices”. Currently, Gregor Ochsner is employed as a post-doc at the pd|z and coordinates the OctoVAD research project, which is part of the Zurich Heart initiative. In addition, he organizes and teaches the Control Systems 2 course for mechanical engineering students at ETH Zurich.
