This is the website of the second R&D phase of the Monte Rosa Hut project. The second R&D phase is not related to the construction phase of the Monte Rosa Hut! For more information on the construction phase, please refer to the official Monte Rosa Hut website.
This research project aims at developing new algorithms and software and hardware solutions for the optimal management of energy and waste flows in buildings. The key idea is to optimize the interactions of different available energy sources, storage systems and consumers. The new Monte Rosa hut is used as a benchmark and demonstrator object.
